Following Frank Kline’s resignation from the school board effective Sept. 1, MVSD is accepting applications to fill his at-large seat. Applicants must reside within the school district boundary, be a U.S. citizen and a registered voter. The school board’s appointee will run for election in 2027, according to Jamie Groomes, Chief Deputy Auditor of Okanogan County.
The school board will select up to five nominees for public interviews that will take place on Sept. 25, at 5:30 PM. The interviews will be conducted by a superintendent or deputy superintendent of North Central Educational Service District, which advises school districts in the region.

The deadline for submission is Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025 by 4:00 PM.
