About 200 people gathered in the Methow Valley Community Center gymnasium Wednesday night to celebrate the Methow Valley Citizens Council’s 50th anniversary. The evening’s program honored historic wins and raised ongoing challenges.

Senator Maria Cantwell congratulated MVCC via a pre-recorded video message, thanking MVCC founders Maggie Coon and Vicki Welch by name.
