Last week was the annual 49’er Day Parade and I had every intention of covering the events for MVE. That is, after I dropped off my daughter at the Okanogan Highlands League Meet hosted by LBHS. I dropped her off at 9 am and it was then that I noticed the names on the school buses- Lake Roosevelt. Bridgeport. Brewster. Okanogan. Omak. Nespelem.
