Twisp Town Council’s mood on Milltown planned development soured Tuesday night as councilmembers sought to find a way out of the predicament.

Agreeing with Councilmember Tim Matsui’s comment that Milltown’s proposal is “buttoned up,” the council nevertheless managed to delay approval for major modifications on a technicality after Councilmember Molly Filer raised a legal question about the effect of wood burning stoves on the town’s health code.
