Twisp Councilmember Tim Matsui would like the Twisp Council to “consider creating new policies and procedures guiding how Twisp law enforcement personnel will interact with federal agents and agencies,” according to a statement by Twisp Mayor Hans Smith.
During a town council meeting on Aug. 12, Matsui said he was “assured by the mayor that we’re going to do some personnel policy and procedure work in the future,” without going into detail.
