School Board Director Boo Schneider is maintaining a lead in almost every precinct in the Methow Valley except Poorman Creek, Aviation and Crossroads, where challenger Hilary Kaltenbach is ahead. Schneider increased her lead to 494 votes and now has 58.6% of the vote to Kaltenbach’s 40.9%.

Approval of a bond for Three Rivers is failing to pass by nearly eight percentage points. It needs a supermajority of 60% to pass and currently has the approval of 52.7% of the voters in the hospital’s district, which includes Methow Valley, Brewster, Bridgeport, Mansfield and Pateros.
Voters in Okanogan and Douglas counties are defeating the measure by similar margins, with 51.84% of voters in Douglas County supporting the measure versus 48.16% opposed, and 52.32% of the voters in Okanogan County supporting it versus 47.68% opposed. Results by precinct can be found here.
Okanogan County Auditor is reporting a 36.91% voter turnout this election cycle. The next release date for local election results is Nov. 12.
There are 27,167 registered voters in Okanogan County, according to the county auditor. 10,026 ballots have so far been counted. An estimated 236 ballots are left to count.
