A last minute forum will take place at Twisp Valley Grange on Monday, Oct. 20 for the Three Rivers Hospital bond on the ballot this November.
Doors open at 6 pm and the forum will run from 6:30-7:30 pm.
The forum will include panelists from Three Rivers Hospital and the Okanogan Health Care Planning Group. They will respond to prepared questions. Okanogan Health Care Planning Group, which opposes the bond measure, includes Peter Morgan, retired hospital administrator; David Clement, retired physician; and Peter Bauer, retired physician.
A recording of the event will be posted on YouTube. For information, visit Twispvalleygrange.org.
All voters within the Okanogan Hospital District #1 are eligible to vote on the bond. District #1 includes Methow Valley, Pateros, Brewster, Bridgeport and Mansfield.
Ballots will be mailed Oct. 17. Deadline to vote is Nov. 4.
A supermajority of 60% is needed to pass the 30 year bond measure.
