Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office released the following statement regarding the swearing in of incoming Sheriff Jodie Barcus. Barcus assumes her role on Monday, April 6.

Barcus will serve as interim sheriff following Sheriff Paul Budrow’s resignation effective April 6. She will serve as interim sheriff pending elections in November. She is also running for sheriff in November.
