A group of around 200 Methow Valley citizens gathered on Saturday, March 8 to protest and rally support for the resistance to the Trump and Musk federal government power grab, massive government layoffs, defunding of many government programs, and what many call the beginnings of an insurgency that will change our government from a democracy to an authoritarian government with fascist and oligarchical tendencies. Many also were very concerned with what is happening to the NATO alliance and US support for Ukraine in its war against Russian invasion.
