Methow Valley Citizens Council organized a Rally for the Valley at Twisp River Tap House this evening. The event was billed as an avenue to assuage your “pre-election jitters” by focusing on local action.

Representatives from MVCC, Clean Air Methow, MVCC Action Fund, Dark Skies Coalition and MVCC’s Electric Bear Fence Program were on hand to talk about their activities and why they matter.

Clean Air Methow Coordinator Anna Jones talks to attendees at the Rally for the Valley event.
MVCC Program Director Lorah Super talks about recent draft zoning code updates to attendees.
Dean Kurath (sitting) of the Methow Dark Skies Coalition asks trivia questions to a visitor as Tuck Stebbins and Karen Schuchardt look on.
